MARKET SENTIMENT RISK: OFF

1. FUTURES: The punishment continues, NSDQ-2.9%, DOW-2.75%, SPX-2.74%,
2. ASIA: Japanese banking stocks led the rout in Asia, with the Nikkei plunging nearly 10% for the week
3. JOBS:Non-Farm increased to 228K, up from 117K in Feb, DJ estimated 140k.Unemployment at 4.2%
4. GOLD: & other risk off assets like Treasuries surge in demand, Barrick fell yesterday but recovered
5. USA: 10-year Treasury yields fell below 4%, markets priced in over 100 basis points of 4 Fed cuts
6. BA: Port/Hold. Just went it looked like Boeing had a clear runway China plans a 34% levy on US goods imported. Where else will it buy its planes from? -5% pre. Boeing has more orders than it can handle
7. Casino stocks: In Macao declined on Friday. Las Vegas Sands -5%. Wynn & MGM Resorts 4% losses.
8. Apple: -3.6% pre, China accounts for 80% of Apple’s production capacity with about 90% of iPhones.
9. SEMIS:With large exposure to China slips. Shares of Marvell & Broadcom -7%, Nvidia -6%. AMD -4%
10. TSLA: JPMorgan cuts estimates & reiterated its sell rating. PT of $120 per PS. Stock closed at $267.

MARKET SENTIMENT RISK: OFF

1. FUTURES: Today is going to be painful with no where to hide, -NSDQ-3.83% DOW-2.78% SPX-3.33%
2. ANIMAL SPIRITS: fears mount over CAP spending, profit declines, & a return to protectionist policies
3. DOGE: Furloughs in the FED GOV total 216,215 for March, part of a total 275,240 reductions overall
4. GOLD: & Treasuries rise, investors look for safe-haven, Barrick Gold (PH) cant escape the selling -5%
5. TARIFF: 10% baseline,along with higher levies on key trading partners like China, EU, Japan, Vietnam
6. LULU: -15% pre, filing shows the company sourced 40% of products from Vietnam in 24. 46% Tariff.
7. NIKE:(PH) -13%pre, approx half its footwear comes China & Vietnam, tariffs 54% & 46%, respectively
8. RH; -32% pre, reports weak Q4 & Q1 guidance of $1.58 ps on $812m Rev ($1.92 & $830m expected)
9. NVDA, TSLA, AMZN, APPL: All fall big, but, will be the first to bounce back, put your phones away & go out for the day. MSFT however, seems to be escaping the sell off and only down half in comparison.

2. ASIA: Nikkei rose today but has given back those gains and more in the futures. YEN finds stregnth
3. OIL: Slides on recession fears on the back of tariffs, we don't buy the recession story, Buffet cuts OXY
4. GOLD: Pushed to record highs above $3,000 per ounce as a safe haven play, Barrick (PH) goes with it
5. USA: 'Liberation Day' is here, it may include a 25% on autos & reciprocal against countries taxing US
6.PAYROLL: Companies added 155,000 jobs in March, Dow Jones forecast for 120,000, says ADP
7. UBER; (PH) & WRD announce partnership with Dubai’s (RTA) to bring autonomous vehicles to Dubai
8. TSLA: (PH) -3.8% ahead of the release of its first-quarter delivery data. Shares down 33.5% YTD
9. META: (PH, core) -1.45%, after Senate opens a review into efforts of entry into the Chinese market.
10. JNJ; (PH), closes Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. Acquisition to solidify neuroscience Leadership

2. ASIA: rebound Tue. YEN strengthens, investors seek safe haven, stagflation & recession risks remian
3. GOLD: Surges to a record high for the fourth consecutive session, takes PH Barrick GOLD up 1.57%
4. YIELDS: fell amid caution ahead of US PTD highly anticipated 'Liberation Day' tariff announcement
5. Australia: AUD weakens on soft retail sales and the Reserve Bank of Australia's decision to hold rates
6. USD: Slipped slightly, pressured by lower yields, although it gained against some key currencies
7. OIL: eased from 5 week high as PTD threats of possible military action against Iran. CVX (PH) -0.25%
8. JNJ (PH) -4.12% pre, bankruptcy judge denies $10B settlement offer over ovarian cancer talc (alleged)

1. FUTURES: SPX -1.1%, DOW -0.72%, NSDQ -1.52% investor rattled by growing fears US trade tariffs.
2. FRANCE: Marine Le Pen barred from public office for 5 yrs, found guilty, misappropriating EU funds.
3. JAPAN: Nikkei -4% 6 month low, hits 35,574.61 USD/JPY AT 149.5, Topix fell 3%, all 33 sub-indexes red.
4. JAPAN: Stocks, Fast Retailing & Tokyo Electron, suffer steep losses, Nikkei VIX index, highest since Mar.
5. Bond: yields fell, GOLD; record high, & expectations for rate cuts from the Fed, ECB, and BOE grow.
6. USD: Weakens, particularly against the yen, markets question its haven status given tariff concerns.
7. UBER: P/H, & OpenTable (part of BKNG), form partnership to provide "first-of-its-kind) dining experience.
