1. FUTURES: After yesterday's punishment, especially the NSDQ, it rises 1.04%, DOW -1.23%, SPX +0.7%
2. ASIA: Rose on Thurs, optimism over US-Japan talks, which PTD joined & claimed made "big progress,"
3. EUROPE: 25-basis-rate cut, tariff turmoiL creates uncertainty & spurs fears about economic growth.
4. GOLD/OIL: Gold hit another record high on safe-haven demand, oil prices rose on tightening supply
5. CURRENCIES: Dollar firms against the Yen and the euro despite rate cut, both still down for the week
6. HTZ: +27% pre-following +56% yesterday, Bill Ackman’s has taken a sizable stake. Too late for us now. 10. DHI: PH, -2.8% pre, Q2 disappoints with $2.58 ps, analysts wanted $2.63, rev of $7.73B below $8.03B.

1. FUTURES: All red, mostly on NVDA shock, (see below) NSDQ -1.2%, DOW -0.35%, SPX -0.75%
2. ASIA: Markets fell on Wed, more pressure on Beijing amid an escalating tech and trade standoff
3. FED: Yields steady ahead of a speech by Fed Chair, dovish stance echoed by Fed Governor Waller
4. GOLD: to a record +$3,275, as investors sought safety amid uncertainty, Barrick jumps 3.75% pre
5. UK: Inflation slows to 2.6%, providing some relief, increases the chances of another rate cut this year
6. RETAIL SALES; +1.49% for March, better than the 1.2% expected, higher than the 0.2% in February
7. TSLA: -2% reports say importing components from China for Cybercab and Semi electric truck production in the U.S. could disrupt Tesla’s efforts to mass produce the vehicles domestically.

8.NVDA:-6% pre, US imposes export restrictions on its AI chips to China, $5.5B in costs & trade tensions
9. UAL: +6.7% pre, earns 91c ps in Q, beating the 76 expected, says economy “impossible to predict.”
10. IBKR: -8% pre, Q1 of $1.88 ps, excluding items, $1.92 expected. Revenue of $1.40B was in line. I cant say I am surprised, IBKR is possibly the WORST broker for customer service. Absolutely shocking.

MARKET SENTIMENT RISK: OFF

1.FUTURES: Edge lower as banking companies beat expectations, NSDQ-0.36%, DOW-0.40%, SPX-0.38%
2. ASIA: shares edged higher, flexibility on the 25% auto tariffs from PDT, Japanese carmakers rally
3. UK: Unemployment held at 4.4% in Feb, while wage growth was in line with forecasts. GBP strong.
4. USD: Remained under pressure, multi-year lows against the euro and Swiss franc, as investors reassessed safe-haven status in light of (potential) declining US corporate profitability & rising inflation
5. USA: Yields steady after last week’s selloff, due to Fed commentary "tariffs could prompt rate cuts"
6. BAC; P/H, +1.7% pre, earnings rose 11% to $7.4 billion, or 90c ps, revenue +5.9% to $27.51 billion. 8. C: P/H, +1.8% pre, reports $1.96 ps on $21.5B revenue. Analysts wanted $1.85ps & $21.29 B revenue
9. NFLX: +2% pre, WSJ forecasts $1T MC & 2X revenue, by 2030. $9B in global ad sales by 2030,
10. JNJ; PH -1% pre, reports $2.77ps, rev of $21.89B, analysts wanted $2.59ps & $21.6B revenue, Increases Div by 4.8%, its 63rd consecutive increase. If you don't love the action you cant ignore the Div

3. OIL: Wavered amid economic slowdown fears & the majors, CVX & XOM, both PH, look cheap
4.GOLD: Continues to surge to record highs on economic slowdown fears, Barrick(PH) takes a breather
5. USD: weakens raising concerns about long-term investment planning and US economic stability
6. PFE:(PH) Ends development oral GLP-1 weight loss drug, after trials patient in suffer's liver injury
