2. ASIA: China's response to tariffs underlines it strategy despite a sharp drop in exports to the US,
3.EUROPE: Markets monitored regional inflation data and Spain recovered from a major power outage.
4. CANADA: Canada's election delivered a projected minority win for the Liberal Party.
5. USA: USD on track for its steepest monthly decline in years & partial rollback in automotive duties.
6.LIN; (PH) will increase its supply of ultra-high-purity atmospheric, process and specialty gases to Samsung’s world-class semiconductor manufacturing complex in Pyeongtaek, South Korea.

8.PFE (PH), +0.4% pre, cost-cutting efforts and a Q1 that topped estimates. Sales fell, largely due to falling Covid revenue, maintains its 2025 guidance but is currently unable to predict the impact from tariffs.
9. HON; (PH),+3.41% pre, Q1 beats with $2.51ps, on revenue of $9.82B, $2.21ps & $9.59B rev expected
10. BANKS: HSBC profits jump 317%, +2.64% pre and Deutsche Bank profits up 39%, 3.22% pre.

1.FUTURES: Nudge higher, earnings or a PTD post can change everything, NDQ.07%, DOW.16%, SP0.1%
2. ASIA: Shares made only small gains on Monday as uncertainty over US trade policy persists.
3. FED: Friday’s payrolls report will be key to predicting FED policy, with bets rising on a June rate cut
4. GOLD: Hovers around records, confirming sentiment, we aren't quite past tariffs concerns just yet.
5. EARNINGS: This week we see Meta, Amazon, Microsoft & Apple report and here about tariff effects.
6. BA; (PH) bounces 2.3% pre, Bernstein goes to outperform says Boeing “should be on a much firmer path than in 2023” as it recovers from the many safety problems it had in 2024. Ive heard this before!

8. LLY:(PH) -1.5% pre, HSBC downgraded says "stock’s high valuation puts it at risk under current economic conditions" worries that expectations of the weight loss drug could be overestimated. JPMorgan however likes it ahead of earnings, says obesity pill, orforglipron in a late-stage trial for Type 2 diabetes and sees strong volumes for injectable obesity drug Zepbound. Keeps its overweight buy.
