1. FUTURES: As we head in to the final day, we are down, NDSQ-0.42%, DOW-0.30%, SPX-0.33%

 

 2. ASIA: Stocks fall sharply. Japan, rising inflation fuelled expectations of further rate hikes

 

3. EURO:Germany advancing a €500B stimulus bill, hopes for economic recovery in EU largest economy

 

4.OIL: posted its best weekly gain since January. after Israeli airstrikes and Ukrainian drone attacks

 

5. UK: Contrasting fiscal paths to Germany as Britain is tightening spending ahead of a budget update

 

6. NIKE: Port/Hold -7% pre, despite top & bottom line beats issues terrible forecast and blaming tariffs

 

7. MU: Port/Hold, after an initial bounce drops 4%, we reduced over position after hours. Good quarter

 

8. LEN: Port/Hold -6% pre due to low guidance, this could be an entry point after a Q1 beat

 

9. FDX: Port/Hold, tumbles 9% after cutting guidance due to weakness in US industrial economy, takes UPS with it. $112.3 is our entry point for UPS.

 

10. JNJ: Port/Hold(CORE) to invest $55B in the USA over the next 4 years, PTD tariffs working.

1.FUTURES: A positive day & FED meeting yesterday, all 3 are red, NSDQ-0.53%, SPX-0.41%, DOW-.37%

 

2. ASIA shares higher on Thursday, limited by a slide in Chinese equities. Nikkei +0.3%, Hang Seng-1.5%

​

3. FED: kept rates unchanged, forecasting 2 rate cuts this year & says inflation would be temporary

​

4. EUROPE: markets mixed, with Euro Stoxx 50 futures up 0.07% but FTSE futures down 0.14%

​

5. AUSTRALIA: employment fell, ASD falls, New Zealand’s economy exited recession, but currency flat

​

6. GOLD: hit a record high of $3,057.21 per ounce on expectations of further Fed easing, Barrick (PH) flat

​

7. CVX. Port/Hold (core) We took some profits yesterday because it's been trading sideways for over a year. & we were overweight. Clear winner out of the Oil companies as reinvesting capital. 1. FUTURES: All green after Wall Street’s sharp decline yesterday NSDQ+0.36, DOW+0.09%, SPX+0.24%

 

2.Asian: stocks subdued after Wall Street’s fall,  Yen weakened slightly after BoJ held rates steady,

 

3. EURO: remains near a five-month high following Germany’s debt overhaul, increased defence spending

 

4 OIL: drops as Russia agrees to stop attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, no ceasefire yet 

 

5. GOLD: surged to a record $3,045 per ounce, reflecting safe-haven. Port/Hold Barrick goes with it.

 

6. FED: meeting today, looking to see if the committee is more cautious on the US outlook after tariffs

  

7. TSLA:+3%pre, approved for passenger transportation permit to offer ride hailing services leading robotaxi

 

8. GS: Port/hold, -0.5% pre, Oppenheimer downgrade to perform. Following MS (PH) last week. Buying op.

 

9.MPR:spin off from LEN, a few weeks ago (Both P/H) announces 1st div, +3%pre following+10% yesterday

 

10. HEES: Port/Hold is being bought by HERC for £78.75 cash and 0.1287 shares. Was a great offer when HERC was trading at $180 on the 19/2/25, but its been in free fall since and now trades at <$180.

2. Asian: rallies, HK Hang Seng hits 3year high (2% gain) on China’s economic measures, Nikkei + 1.5%

 

3. US: Retail sales report & reciprocal tariffs from 2 April pressures the USD . FED meets this week.

 

5. Gold to a record $3,017 an ouncE as investor seek safe haven Barrick (PH) +2% pre after 2% Monday

 

6.UKRAINE: Focus is on a call between PTD and PVP, to discuss land, power plants, & asset division.

 

7.Europe: futures indicate a strong start, with Eurostoxx 50 up 0.35% and DAX rising 0.43%.

 

8. TLSA: (PH) Falls 3.5% pre as its volatile ride continues. RBC Capital Markets cut their PT on the stock,

 

9. RL: The fashion stock added 2.8% following an upgrade at Goldman Sachs to buy from neutral

 

10. GOOGL, PH(Core) -0.18% pre signs “definitive agreement” to acquire Wiz, $32 billion all-cash deal

3. Asian: stocks rallied as China to boost consumption, though economic data remains mixed.

 

4. Europe: markets resilient, Germany’s €500 billion fiscal plan could drive further gains if approved

 

5. FED:expected to keep rates steady this week, investors watch PDT talks with Putin on ending war.

 

6. USD: lingered near a five-month low & gold near record highs, investors seek safe-haven assets.

 

7. NVDA: Port/Hold (Core), annual GTC conference this week. Normally has run-up before & after.
